Color and vigor of fish can be negatively affected by lack of trace minerals. Kent Discus Essential replaces biologically important trace minerals which are used by fish and plants and removed through filtration in discus aquaria. Discus Essential will provide color and vigor without use of dangerous hormones! It contains no detrimental heavy metals, phosphates, nitrates, or silicates.
This product will not affect alkalinity, pH or water hardness. You must adjust pH separately, and use R/O Right to increase total dissolved solids (i.e. GH), if required. Kent pH STABLE will increase alkalinity (i.e. KH) and help maintain a stable pH. Contents: Inorganic mineral salts of aluminum, boron, bromine, calcium, chromium, chlorine, cobalt, copper, iodine, iron, lithium, magnesium, manganese, molybdenum, nickel, potassium, selenium, sodium, strontium, sulfur, vanadium, and zinc in a base containing deionized water and EDTA.
